WBO President, Gustavo Olivieri, Esq., and CCB President, Dr. Ovidio Claros Polanco, have sealed a groundbreaking agreement that will bring the 2025 World Boxing Convention to Bogotá. This alliance will not only open new doors for boxing in the region but will also mark the beginning of a key collaboration with the business sector to enhance the sport and support its athletes.
WBO President, Gustavo Olivieri, Esq., highlighted: “This is the beginning of partnerships with the private sector and public entities, which will lead to a significant advancement in achieving the organization’s mission-driven objectives.”
Dr. Ovidio Claros Polanco, President of the Bogotá Chamber of Commerce, praised the WBO’s efforts in promoting boxing worldwide:
“The World Boxing Organization has been a fundamental pillar in the promotion and growth of boxing across the globe, fostering young talent and providing them with opportunities to shine in the ring.
