Kaipo Gallegos Shines in Las Vegas Victory Over Leonardo Padilla PhilBoxing.com Wed, 05 Feb 2025  LAS VEGAS, NV (February 4, 2025) – The young talented featherweight star on the rise, Kaipo Gallegos (8-0-1, 6 KOs), continued his undefeated streak with a dominant performance against veteran Leonardo Padilla (24-7-1, 17 KOs) this past Saturday, February 1, 2025, at the T-Mobile Arena. The scheduled six-round bout took place on the undercard of the David Benavidez vs. David Morrell super fight, with Gallegos showcasing his skill and power in front of his hometown crowd. Facing an opponent with triple his experience, Gallegos controlled the fight from the inside, landing sharp combinations and dictating the pace from start to finish. Scorecards read 60-54 twice and 59-55, all in favor of Gallegos. “Fighting in my hometown and delivering this kind of performance against a very tough opponent has my confidence at an all-time high,” said Gallegos. “Padilla is a tough fighter, but I knew I had the skills and strength to dominate him on the inside.
