3 Pinoy boxers lose in Japan

ALL three boxers - Joseph “The Scorpion” Ambo, Jing “Edo” Aguan and Christian June Capuno failed in their bid to win in Japan last February 1 at Korakuen Hall in Tokyo.
The 29-year-old Ambo of Cagayan de Oro City suffered a 2nd round knockout to still undefeated Subaru Murata of Japan for the WBO Asia Pacific super bantamweight title in 12-rounds.
Aguan, 31, on the other hand, lost by a 4th round technical knockout to Japan’s Junya Shimada while Capuno bowed to Kota Kaneko by a 2nd round knockout.
