GOLDEN BOY FIGHT NIGHT ON DAZN WILL BE LIVE FROM COMMERCE CASINO & HOTEL ON THURSDAY, JANUARY 23

COMMERCE, Calif. (Jan. 15, 2025) – As Los Angeles recovers from the effects of the Los Angeles wildfires, Oscar De La Hoya’s Golden Boy Promotions has announced a major decision to donate 100 percent of ticket sales from the upcoming Golden Boy Fight Night on DAZN: Priest vs. Howard event to the Los Angeles Fire Department Foundation. The fight night will feature the headlining debut of top prospect Eric Priest (14-0, 8 KOs), of Kansas City, Kansas, who will compete in a 10-round middleweight bout against Crossville, Tennessee’s Tyler "Hercules" Howard (20-2, 11 KOs). The event will take place at The Commerce Casino & Hotel and will be broadcast worldwide on DAZN at 6 p.m. PT. Tickets are still available and can be purchased at GoldenBoy.com.

The undercard will feature Golden Boy’s fan-favorite fighters on the rise. In his Golden Boy debut, Jordan “The Patriot” Pantheon (9-0, 8 KOs), of Honolulu, Hawaii, will co-headline with a 10-round middleweight bout against Columbia, South Carolina’s DeAundre “Dixianimal” Pettus (12-3, 7 KOs). Making his grand return after a two-year absence from the ring, Hector Valdez Jr. (16-0, 8 KOs), of Dallas, Texas, will be eager to prove he still has the tools to be a world champion in an eight-round super bantamweight fight against Los Teques, Venezuela’s Franklin “El Abuelo” Gonzalez (25-3, 25 KOs).

Golden Boy’s must-watch prospects will also be featured, including Coachella Valley’s Grant Flores (7-0, 5 KOs), who will face Heredia, Costa Rica’s David “Lobo” Ramirez (17-3, 12 KOs). Also representing Coachella Valley, Cayden Griffiths (2-0, 2 KOs) aims to impress in a four-round super lightweight fight against Scranton, Pennsylvania’s Marc “Hitman” Misiura (3-6-1, 1 KO). In a four-round bantamweight bout, Olympic trials medalist Jordan Fuentes (2-0), of Fresno, California, will meet Charlotte, North Carolina’s Brandon Badilo (0-2-1). Opening the fight night, Amarillo’s Javier Meza (1-0, 1 KO) will participate in a four-round super lightweight bout against an opponent to be announced.
