Paciones wins WBA Asia light fly title

ARVIN Jhon “The Sniper” Paciones of Cebu remained undefeated after beating Xiang Li of China by unanimous decision for the WBA Asia light flyweight championship last December 26 at the Spaceplus Bangkok RCA in Bangkok.
The 19-year-old Paciones kept on throwing jabs on Li throughout the 12-round bout.
He now has 10 wins with no loss or draw while Li suffered his third setback against nine wins and two draws.
Paciones who had his third bout this year, earlier outslugged former IBF world minimumweight champion Rene Mark Cuarto of Davao City by a split decision last June 29, 2024 in Mandaue City.
