Llover wins OPBF bantam belt

KENNETH “The Lover Boy” Llover TKO'd Tulio Dekanarudio in the 1st round to win the Orient and Pacific Boxing Federation bantamweight title on December 15, Sunday at the Sumiyohi S;ports Center in Osaka, Japan.
The 21-year-old Llover of General Trias, Cavite scored his 13th straight win and the 8th knockout while Dekanarudio, 28, of Japan suffered his 3rd loss against eight win and two draws.
Llover, who is trained by Jonathan Penalosa, earlier won the WBO Asia Pacific Youth bantamweight title by beating Chengcheng Yang of China by a unanimous decision last August 24, 2024 in Paranaque City.
Llover also won the Philippine Youth bantamweight title by knocking out James Pagaling of Misamis Oriental in the 4th round last July 29, 2023 in San Juan City.
He won the vacant WBC Asian Continental bantamweight by beating former OPBF champion Edward Heno of Muntinlupa last November 5, 2023 in General
