Rapista to fight again on Dec. 21
By Lito delos Reyes PhilBoxing.com Fri, 13 Dec 2024
UNDEFEATED Kenneth “El Rapido” Rapista of Davao City will fight again this time against Justine Digamo of Dipolog City in the 8-round main event at the Calinan Gym in Calinan, Davao City.
“I'm really preparing for this match because he is strong,” said the 21-year-old Rapista.
Rapista, who is being trained by ex-boxer Aries Buenavidez, has finished the hard sparring already against Dennis Endow and James Pacamalan.
“And we will go to light already,” said Rapista.
Rapista said that he is confident against Digamo and his “condition is 100 percent.”
“But 30% is my strength and 70% is the intelligence. That's my technique in today's fight,” said Rapista.
Rapista knocked out Jatar Alemia of Gensan in the 1st round last April 8, 2024 in Valencia City.
He then scored a unanimous decision to Venjie Patac of Dinagat Islands last July 19 in Banaybanay.
In his last fight, Rapista stopped Jay R Tulinan in the 2nd round by a technical knockout last September 19 in Bislig City.
Digamo, on the other hand, retired Arnold Montales of Sultan Kudarat in the 1st round last April 30 at Sindangan Gym in Sindangan.
Promoter Rey Gil Simeon said that 11 supporting matches will also be added.
