WBC 62nd Annual Convention kicks off in Germany

The World Boxing Council (WBC) commenced its Annual Convention with a significant Classifications Session, attended by members of the Classifications Committee to undertake their crucial work.
Esteemed representatives from the global boxing community were present, including Juan Miguel Elorde, Daniel Van De Wiele, Nancy Rodriguez, Nicolás Hidalgo, Miguel Ángel De Pablos, Carlos Utrilla, Alberto Guerra, Luis Medina, Kevin Noone, Marina Milovanova, Patrick Cusick, Alberto León, Frank Hadley, Peter Ngatane, and Dean Lohuis. The discussions were led by WBC President Mauricio Sulaimán.
The committee began its deliberations with the higher weight divisions and will continue addressing all weight categories through Saturday.
Additionally, it has been announced that Universum Boxing will host a spectacular event, Universum Boxing Night #14, on December 12 at the Grand Elysée Hotel, Rotherbaum, in Hamburg, Germany. The event is part of the WBC Annual Convention and will be broadcast live on DAZN.
This exciting card will feature thrilling bouts for prestigious WBC titles, showcasing rising stars and experienced champions. The night promises unforgettable moments of action, creating a legacy for German boxing as it returns to the global stage.
