ArAr Andales Defeats Former World Champion Rene Mark Cuarto in Thrilling Bout

Quezon City, Philippines – December 1, 2023 – Former world title challenger ArAr Andales (16-2) of Sanman-Quibors Boxing secured an impressive victory over former IBF Minimumweight world champion Rene Mark Cuarto (22-6) with a unanimous decision in a captivating ten-round match. The judges scored the bout 98-91, 98-91, and 97-92, all in favor of Andales, who delivered a standout performance highlighted by a knockdown in the 7th round.
“I want to thank my team. I’m very happy with the victory and I will do better next time,” said Andales. “I’m ready for a shot at any world champion in the light flyweight or minimum weight divisions.”
Andales’ victory over a former world champion puts him back in the running for a world title shot next year.
