FORMER WBO Oriental minimumweight champion ArAr “Asero” Andales of Northern Samar scored a convincing unanimous decision victory against ex-IBF World minimumweight king Rene Mark “Might Mouse” Cuarto last December 1 at the Ramon Magsaysay Covered Court in Quezon City.
The 25-year-old Andales of Quibors and Sanman Boxing landed powerful punches including a knockdown against Cuarto.
The scores were 97-92, 97-92 and 98-91 all in favor of Andales, who has 16 wins with six knockouts, two loses and three draws.
The 28-year-old Cuarto of Zamboanga del Norte suffered his 7th loss against 22 wins and 2 draws.
Meanwhile, unbeaten Roderick “The Bone Crusher” Bautista of General Santos City outpunched Arvin John Sampaga of Masbate by unanimous decision in the main event.
The event, which is called the “Blow by Blow” was promoted by Manny Pacquiao.
