PhilBoxing.com Sat, 30 Nov 2024

Malmö's heavyweight prospect Genti Morina made a successful professional debut by defeating Bosnian opponent Julijan Savić by knockout in the first round at the boxing event in Frederiksberg Hallerne, Copenhagen, organized by Bettina Palle. Morina showcased his skills and secured a convincing win in his first match as a professional.
– "It feels fantastic to win my pro debut! I’ve trained hard for this, and stepping into the ring and delivering as planned is an incredible feeling. I want to thank my team, my family, and everyone who has supported me. This is just the beginning – now I’m looking forward to the next challenge," says a satisfied Genti Morina.
Om"He Followed the Game Plan to the Letter"
Coach Hisham Zaben, Genti’s trainer, was very pleased with the debut: – "Genti followed our game plan to the letter. He maintained distance, used his technique, and controlled the pace of the fight. He has a powerful right hand. This is exactly what we trained for, and it's amazing to see it pay off in the ring."
"A Strong and Well-Executed Fight"
Coach Luan Morina, Genti’s father and long-time trainer, was also proud of his son’s performance: – "It was a strong and well-executed fight. Genti showed both technique and mental strength in the ring. I’m very proud of him and the hard work he’s put in to get here."
The Future Looks Bright
With a convincing debut victory, Genti Morina is now ready to build on his career in professional boxing. The fight against Julijan Savić was just the first step towards greater goals.
