Gaballo to fight again on Dec. 18 in Bula
By Lito delos Reyes PhilBoxing.com Fri, 29 Nov 2024

FORMER two-time interim bantamweight world champion Reymart "The Assassin" Gaballo of Polomolok, South Cotabato will face James “Dynamite” Pagaling of Misamis Oriental on December 18 at the Bula Gymnasium in Gensan.
It will be the 4th fight for this year by Gaballo, who won his WBO Oriental bantamweight title by knocking out Phai Pharob of Thailand in the 1st round last February 13 at Midas Hotel in Pasay City.
It was Gaballo’s second title defense of the vacant title he won by TKO over Ricardo Sueno of Bacolod City last October 29, 2022 at the Lagao Gym in Gensan.
But Gaballo suffered a shocking 1st round TKO against Mexican fighter Kenbun Torres last May 10 at Midas Hotel in Pasay.
It was supposed to be Gaballo’s tune-up match in preparation for a possible world championship.
Gaballo, however, made a comeback by stopping Jeny Boy “Camiguin Tiger” Boca of Bukidnon in the 1st round last August 30 at Polomolok Gym in Polomolok, South Cotabato.
“I will make another comeback," said Gaballo.
The Gaballo-Pagaling 10-rounder bout is one of the supporting matches of the IBO World minimum weight title fight between former 3-time world champion Katsunari Takayama of Japan against undefeated Kha Lu of Australia in the main event.
It is a free Christmas Day presentation by the Sanman Boxing Production.
COMEBACK. Former two-time interim bantamweight world champion Reymart "The Assassin" Gaballo
