Samaco PhilBoxing.com Sat, 23 Nov 2024 According to Pinoy Boxing Progidy, Team Magsayo has confirmed that former WBC world featherweight champion Mark Magnifico Magsayo is set to return to the ring on December 14. While his opponent is already set, the name will be revealed shortly by his team. * * * Magsayo won the WBA intercontinental super featherweight title with a lopsided unanimous decision over Mexican former interim world titleholder Eduardo Ramirez on June 15, 2024 at the Grand Garden Arena of the MGM Grand in Las Vegas, USA. * * * The 28-year-old Magsayo totally dominated Ramirez in the 10-round fight. He knocked Ramirez down with a solid right in the third round. The scores were 97-92, 97-92, 99-90 all in favor of Magsayo. * * * Magsayo won his second straight fight since moving up to super featherweight. He improved to 26-2 with 17 knockouts. He is ranked WBC No. 3, WBA No. 5, IBF No. 5 and WBO No. 4 in the super featherweight division. * * * After one month in the 2024-25 NBA season, here are the early MVP contenders: 1.
