Lausanne, Switzerland – The IBA Kunlun Fight World Cup is set to ignite Beijing with world-class boxing and kickboxing action on 16 November 2024. This groundbreaking event, hosted at the National Indoor Stadium, will begin at 19:00 local time (GMT+8) and live streaming will be available globally.

The show starts with four kickboxing matches where France’s Bilal Zeghlache and local kickboxer Zhang Mingyang are to compete in 85kg contest. In the 70kg division, Hungarian Renátó Góman meets with Stanislav Kazantsev from Ukraine, and Italian kickboxer Samuele De Meis fights against Brazil’s Marcos Alves. Yodkitti T. Thepsuthin representing Thailand challenges Saliman Aobulihairi from China in the 63kg division.

The boxing event promises adrenaline-fueled excitement with four showdowns in the fiercely competitive 63.5kg weight division, all in a professional 6-round format at the stage of quarterfinals.

In one electrifying matchup, undefeated Bakhodur Usmonov of Tajikistan, boasting an 8-0 record with 3 knockouts, will clash with local favorite LeQuan Wang, an experienced fighter with 8 wins (5 KOs) and 2 losses.

Venezuela’s unbeaten Luis Arcon (15-0-1) will take on Russia’s Gabil Mamedov, European champion, making this an unmissable bout.

Meanwhile, fans will see Olympic champion Erislandy Alvarez from Cuba — a young yet remarkably experienced amateur with 3 professional wins, go head-to-head with Adilet Kurmetov from Kazakhstan.

France’s Sofiane Oumiha, a three-time IBA World Champion and two-time Olympic silver medallist with an undefeated 5-0 pro record, is set to face Serbia’s Pavel Fedorov, who has achieved three professional victories to his name.

‘This tournament brings together boxers from around the world in a professional format—eight of the absolute best in each category,’ said IBA President Umar Kremlev. ‘We aim to thrill audiences in China and beyond with these top-tier contests. With prize money on the line, these boxers not only chase glory but also work to support their families. Our mission is to create the right platform for them to shine.’

IBA Secretary General & CEO, Chris Roberts OBE repeated again, ‘IBA continue to deliver at the highest level, with everything that we do, remains in situ for the athlete and the wider population of our boxing fans across the globe – we aim to please, and we will remain as the lead global boxing organization by providing opportunities for our people across all continents; Saturday evening will undoubtedly be a night to remember.’

Prepare for an unforgettable night of high-stakes fighsts in Beijing, where the world’s best will keep spectators on the edge of their seats.
