PhilBoxing.com

PATTAYA, Thailand — Unbeaten heavy-handed Heavyweight Alessio “The Hammer” Bisutti (L) and fearless Thailand warrior Suthat Kalalek made weight and faced-off ahead of their 10-round clash for the vacant UBO Inter-Continental Heavyweight Title set for Saturday, November 9, at the FCC Boxing Gym in Pattaya Beach, Thailand.

Bisutti (9-0, 8 KOs) of Veneto, Italy, currently training and fighting out of Thailand, stepped on the scale at 107 kilos, while the 29-year-old former Muay Thai combatant Suthat Kalalek made 97.7 Kg, both fighters looking strong, ready for war.

Bisutti (L) and Kalalek (R) faced off during the weighin ceremony before battling each other Saturday in Pattaya, Thailand.

Four Filipino boxers are being featured in exciting supporting bouts:

“The Ipugo” KJ Natuplag (12-4-2, 11 KOs) of Cabarroguis, Quirino, will lock horns against tough Jensak Phosri of Thailand in a 6-chapter battle in the Super Featherweight division.

Also, Reymart Soledad (2-0, 0 KOs) of Angono, Rizal, will see action against Thai fighter Wangkhlaklang Pluem. Their non-title rumble is a six-round affair in the 147-pound weight-class.

Reymond Yahong (L) and Zhao Xingjiang pose during Friday's weighin.

In addition, Visayas 140-pounder Reymond Yanong (14-10-1, 10 KOs) of Escalante, Negros Occidental, will battle a scheduled eight-round fight against undefeated well-trained Middle Kingdom super lightweight warrior Zhao Xingjiang (5-0) of Yunnan, China.

What’s more, promising 25-year-old Light Flyweight Elmar “Samurai” Zamora (7-0, 5 KOs) of beautiful Oloc in Laua-an, Antique, will climb up the square ring to fight Wacjorawot Sanpakorn of Thailand. Zamora’s mission is an 8-chapter clash in the 108-pound division.

Best of luck to the Pinoys!

The 12-bout pro boxing event set for Saturday, November 9, is promoted by Thailand’s FCC (Fight Club Championship) in association with Highland Boxing.
