MIKE “Magic” Plania of General Santos City stopped Deivi “El Cabo” Julio of Colombia in the 3rd round last October 26 at the Miccosukee Indian Gaming Resort in Miami.
The 27-year-old Plania posted his 31st win and 18th knockout victory against four losses.
Plania, who is now based in Miami, Florida, hit a right hook in the 1st round for the first knockdown.
After a few seconds, Julio was again down by Plania. But the referee called it only as a slip.
In the 2nd, Plania continued with his right and left punches against Julio.
Plania then hurt Julio with a right that proved to be the end.
Plania's promoter is Laura Ching while manager is Osmiri Fernandez.
Julio, 43, suffered his 17th setback against 28 wins.
