Loreto to fight Miki for double title on Oct. 20

MARINA Loreto, wife of former IBO World light flyweight champion Rey Loreto of Davao City, will fight against Mont Blanc Miki of Tokyo for the Japan Boxing Commission minimum and the vacant WBO Asia Pacific minimum titles on October 20, Sunday at the 176 Box in Toyonaka.
The 30-year-old Loreto of Hyogo, Japan recently defended her JBC title against Sayo Segawa last November 12, 2023 in Osaka.
It was a majority draw with two judges both scoring 57-57.
Loreto, who is still undefeated with six wins against two draws, earlier won the vacant JBC minimum title by beating Sarasa Ichimura by a unanimous decision last April 9, 2023 at Toyonaka.
Miki, 32, recently lost to Honoka Kano by a UD for the JBC Atom weight title last July 22, 2024 at Korakuen Hall in Tokyo.
Miki has six wins with seven loses and one draw.
Takashi Hashimo of Esperanza Sports Promotion is the promoter.
