President Kremlev meets with Turki Al-Sheikh before Beterbiev vs Bivol fight in Riyadh

Lausanne, Switzerland – IBA President Umar Kremlev met with the Chairman of the General Entertainment Authority of Saudi Arabia Turki Al-Sheikh in Riyadh on the backdrop of the fight between Artur Beterbiev and Dmitry Bivol for the undisputed Light Heavyweight World Champion title.
President Kremlev admired the efforts that Turki Al-Sheikh invests in the global sporting landscape of professional boxing, and the parties discussed future collaborations.
‘It is beneficial for the sport of boxing when we see big names and personalities facing off against each other. That is the philosophy we have in the IBA, as the best should fight against the best. The fight between Beterbiev and Bivol was a great battle. Both boxers gave it their all in the ring, and we enjoyed this rivalry so much. We have big plans for the future, so I recommend that everyone prepares to tune in for those upcoming announcements, 2025 will bring us so much to look forward to with our sport,’ President Kremlev claimed.
Following the meeting, IBA President visited a main event of the night, where Artur Beterbiev unified all the champion belts in this battle-hardened light heavyweight division.
