Robert Guerrero III Remains Undefeated with Second-Round Knockout in San Antonio

GILROY, CA (October 6, 2024) – Super featherweight rising star Robert Guerrero III (4-0, 2 KOs) continued his undefeated streak with an impressive second-round knockout victory over Dean Fraire of San Antonio, TX. The fight took place this past Saturday, October 5, 2024, at the Boeing Center at Tech Port in San Antonio, gaining fans with a powerful performance. Guerrero III dropped Fraire twice in the second round before finishing the bout with a series of right uppercuts, prompting the referee to stop the fight at the 2:41 mark.
“Getting my second knockout feels amazing,” said Guerrero III, who goes by the nickname “El Pistolero”. “It’s proof that all the hard work in the gym is paying off, and I’m continuing to grow as a fighter. I knew I had to make a statement in this fight, and I’m glad I was able to deliver a strong performance.”
Guerrero III, the son of former multiple-division world champion Robert “The Ghost” Guerrero, expressed his excitement about the win and the role his family played in his corner.
“Having my dad and grandpa in my corner means everything to me,” continued Guerrero III, who is trained by his grandfather Ruben Guerrero Sr. “They’re not just my coaches—they’re my mentors and the reason I’m in this sport. Their experience and guidance give me so much confidence every time I step into the ring. I want to thank my entire team for the work we put in leading up to this fight, and a huge thank you to all the fans who came out to support me in San Antonio.”
