He returned to form by decisioning Quincy LaVallais in June and Santiago Fernandez in August. Madera (14-5, 9 KOs), a 10-year pro from Stockton, California, returns following a knockout loss to top prospect Amari Jones last December. Knyba (13-0, 7 KOs) made his U.S. debut in May 2022 with a six-round decision over Terrell Jamal Woods. In January 2023, he signed with Top Rank and registered an eighth-round TKO over Curtis Harper in April. He secured decision wins over Helaman Olguin in June and Michael Coffie in December. Lartey (16-6, 13 KOs) is coming off consecutive knockouts, including a fourth-round stoppage of Polish former world title challenger Andrzej Wawrzyk in April. In additional undercard action: Unbeaten heavyweight Ali Feliz (3-0, 2 KOs) will fight Rashad Coulter (5-4, 3 KOs) in a six-rounder. He followed up with a first-round stoppage of Lemir Isom-Riley in June and a four-round points verdict against unbeaten Robinson Perez in July. Unbeaten Dominican featherweight phenom Yan Santana (12-0, 11 KOs) will step up in class in a 10-round showdown against former world title challenger Eduardo Baez (23-6-2, 9 KOs). Santana enters this bout following a decision win over Brandon Valdes in June. Baez most recently dropped a decision to Angelo Leo, who won the IBF featherweight world title in his next fight. |
