Pabular-Sampaga bout postponed

THE fight between undefeated Kurt John Pabular and Arvin John Sampaga for the vacant Philippine Boxing Federation [PBF] minimumweight title set on September 6 at the Mobo in Masbate was postponed.
The new date has yet to be announced according to matchmaker Jonathan Peñalosa.
“I will try to win for my family and those who supported me,” said 19-year-old Pabular of Bansalan, Davao del Sur.
Pabular, who was trained by Coach Brille Dayaganon and Rimar Metuda, is seeking his 5th straight win against no loss or draw.
“I can do it and I will do it. I will try to get the belt in this fight. I have had this dream for a long time to win a PBF championship,” said Pabular.
Sampaga, on the other hand, is aiming for its 9th win against one loss and one draw.
The 26-year-old Sampaga defeated Ramcie Mondala of Paranaque City by a unanimous decision last June 22 in Cataingan.
