Polomolok, South Cotabato, Philippines – August 29, 2024 – The official weigh-in for the WBA Asia Minimumweight title fight was held today, with Joey Canoy weighing in at 104 lbs and Jonathan Refugio at 105 lbs. Both fighters are set to deliver an exciting match tomorrow.
In a statement, Joey Canoy shared his enthusiasm: "I am happy to be fighting for a regional title. After this, I want my world title shot next, especially the winner of the Niyomtrong and Winwood bout. Thank you, Sanman Boxing, for this opportunity."
