Panorama Summit is official hotel in Panorama Summit is official hotel in BMC By Lito delos Reyes PhilBoxing.com Wed, 31 Jul 2024 THE majestic Panorama Summit Hotel is the official hotel of the 1st Kapitan Omar Duterte Basic Mountaineering Course set on August 24 and 25 at the GAP Farming Resort in Green Meadows, Ma-a. “Panorama Summit Hotel, which is located at Kilometer 7, Tigatto Road in Buhangin is the Official Hotel being the major sponsor,” said Sales and Marketing Head Kizia Marie Teves of SCOOP News Davao. Teves said the Panorama Summit Hotel, which is owned by Chairman Rey Castañeda and President Mrs. Linda Castañeda, also believes in environmental issues as climate change, pollution, environmental degradation, and resource depletion. Panorama Summit Hotel has extended its promo room rates for Duaw Davao due to the overwhelming support. The Duaw Davao rates are Php 2,088 for Single Occupancy and Php 2,288 for Double Occupancy with inclusions of Breakfast, Complimentary Wifi Access and free use of Swimming Pool. “The BMC participants are expected to be equipped, skilled and well-trained mountaineers after the course,” said Teves. Among the topics to be discussed are Basic ropemanship technique and application; Basic bandaging & application; Basic life support (BLS) & application; Leave No Trace Principles (LNT); Mountaineering values & attitude; Trail ethics; Uses & familiarization of equipment; Tent fixing; and Backpacking. The presenter is Kapitan Omar Duterte, Punong Barangay of Buhangin Proper. The two-day event is a project of SCOOP News Davao for mountaineering and adventure sports.
