DC ATHLETICS OPEN: Under 12 exclusive for DC schools only

THE Under 12 category for the Kadayawan Davao City Athletics Open will now be exclusively for the Davao City schools on August 3 and 4 at the University of Mindanao Sports Complex in Ma-a.
This was announced by Kenneth Sai, president of Davao City Track and Field Association.
“It will be difficult for us because there are so many teams that can't make it in just two days,” said Sai.
Last year, DCTFA had a total of 30 teams coming from Manila, Cagayan de Oro,
“The Under 17 and 18 Above categories are still open,” said Sai.
The events, which are for boys and girls are 100meter dash, 200m, 400m, 800m, 1500m, 3000m, 5000m, discus, shot put, long jump and high jump.
Sai said there will be cash prizes for the team winners and medals for individual winners.
