Refresher course for professional boxing ring officials next in Davao City

DAVAO CITY – The Games and Amusements Board will soon have its Refresher Course for Professional Boxing Ring Officials in Mindanao Region in Davao City.
GAB OIC Rodil Manaog is now looking for the venue where the one-day course will be held.
GAB has recently conducted a similar event last May 31 at the Waterfront Hotel in Cebu City.
GAB Chairman Atty. Richard Clarin has been inviting all boxing officials to participate in the course.
“Let us unite to promote, professionalize, and protect professional boxing in the Philippines!,” said Clarin.
Under Clarin's leadership, GAB has reaffirmed its dedication to the 3xPRO advocacy: promoting, professionalizing, and protecting Philippine professional sports.
Also expected to come for the course are Boxing & Other Contact Sports Division Chief Jackie Lou Cacho, International judge Engr. Greg Ortega and international boxing referee-judge Atty. Danrex Joseph Tapdasan.
