Early entries in 1st Mayor Josef Fortich Cagas Cup

DAVAO CITY – There are now 80 plus entries in first Mayor Josef Fortich Cagas Cup slated to be held on June 6 to 9 in Digos City.
This was announced by tournament director Juanito “Titong” Cansino Jr.

Slated to play in the 25 Boys Under are Paul John Dy Guaso of Davao City, Iman, Larena, Fritz Gravador, Kristoffer Espinoza, Paul Matthew Tandingan, Jan Renaldo Deliva, Stephen Fuertes and Gab Mayor of Digos, Thummer Jay Arriesgado and Shawn De Leon of Sta. Cruz.

Only two are still in listed in 25 girls – Camille Jhed Clar of Digos and Chelsea Bernaldez of Tagum City.

In the 10Unisex, top seed is Daneea Sinsuat of Cotabato City.
Her older sister Dafeena Sinsuat is also playing together with Andrew Domasing, Zacky Chad Villanueva and Prince Minoza of Kidapawan City, Philnano Elliah Mar of Davao City, Rhym Jamien Campanano of Matanao, Jane Venice Simpliciano of Digos City,Thomas Danne Bernaldez of Tagum City, Zackary Alia of Sta. Cruz, Marco Francis Pilapil of North Cotabato and Aleushia Maurin of Pikit.

Pitted in the 14 Boys are Zayden Llamo, Francis Daniel Florida, Sheldrick Evagelista, Lolemer Egor of Digos, Carl Eduarte, Kaeleek Detico and Jean Rey Templa of Kidapawan City and Yized Sinolinding and Roussef Sinolinding.

Listed already in the 14 Girls are Charmylle Mansanades, Clauskie Jhuane Flores, Princess Dyan Placa, Kate Florida and Jannaica Angel Isabida of Digos, Ela Pedregosa and Chandra Felecio of Arakan, and Maria Dimzon of Maragusa.

The other early entries:

16Girls – Camille Clar, Charmylle Mansanades, Clausxie Flores, Princess Placa, Kate Florida, Ela Pedregoza, Siamfev Mar, Xian Decio, Rhez Hersalia, Ezekel Fulmaran and Gian Luna
16Boys – Lauder Sanada, Sheldrick Evanglista, Inigo Barrios, Carl Eduarte, Kael Deticio, Jean Templa, Gab Mayor, Lolemier Egos, Yized Sinolinding, Roussef Sinolinding, Kenneth Ediza, Charles Gallo, John Simpliciano, Mark Lacia, Ezekel Fumaran, Reyme Judabal, Gian Luna and Steohen Fuertes.

The other categories are the boys and girls for 12 and 18.

“It is part of the 7-leg Summer Junior Tennis Tour Satellite Circuit Group 2 tournament,” said Cansino.

The other legs will be held in Davao, Bansalan, Mati, Kidapawan, Tagum and Mati.

This event will give the kids the opportunity to earn Philta ranking points under Group 2, which is the highest group. Registration fee is P400 per entry.
