Carleans Rivas and Norj Guro in WIBA World Title Battles in Highland Boxing Promotion in Thailand

PhilBoxing.com

BANGKOK, Thailand – Brave and strong Filipina boxers Carleans "Chay" Rivas of Rizal and Norj Guro of Lanao del Norte successfully made weight ahead of their respective battles for WIBA Women's World Title fights in the exciting coming Highland Boxing Promotion Show set for Thursday, May 30, at the luxurious SpacePlus Night Club in Bangkok, Kingdom of Thailand.

In a main role, former world title challenger, Carleans "Chay" Rivas, will clash again for a big belt as she takes on 21-year-old southpaw Panumad Bubpamalo for the Women's WIBA Light Flyweight (108 pounds) World Crown.

In her last try at a world title, "Chay" was defeated while challenging Costa Rica boxing star - then world champ - Yokasta Valle (30-3, 9 KO's) in Costa Rica.

But that is past. Will this time Carleans "Chay" Rivas claim the world strap that she has been dreaming of her whole life? This is her chance.

In another world title match, former WBC Silver champion Norj Guro crashes hard against tough and fast 18-year-old Thailand warrior girl, former Muay Thai fighter Phunnakran Karnjanawong for the Women's WIBA Atomweight (102 lbs) World Belt.

The 13-bout pro boxing show, billed as ARISE, is organized and produced by Thailand coach/promoters Supanat Chanram and Brico Santig of the Highland Boxing Team on May 30, at the plush SpacePlus Night Club in Central Bangkok.

Fans outside Thailand may watch the show LIVE for free from the YouTube Channel and Facebook page of Highland Boxing.

Three Filipino boxers are part of the event: Ador Torres of Sorsogon, Jimmy Paypa of Lanao del Norte and world-ranked Jayr Raquinel of Negros Occidental

May the best women and men win!
