Astrolabio waiting for fight date against Nakatani

CHALLENGER Vincent “Asero” Astrolabio of General Santos City will now be ready to fight reigning WBC World bantamweight champion Junto Nakatani of Japan.
The fight, however, has not been set yet.
“Astrolabio is ready but there is no clear date for the fight,” said Astrolabio’s manager and chief trainer Raides “Nonoy Neri.
The 27-year-old Astrolabio is currently training at the MP Boxing Gym in Toril, Davao City.
He had two fights last year.
Astrolabio lost in his first fight against Jason Moloney of Australia by a majority decision for the vacant WBO World bantamweight title last May 13, 2023 at Stockton Arena in Stockton.
But in his second outing, Astrolabio stopped Nayapon Khaikanha in the 11th round for the WBC bantamweight elimination bout last August 26 at Suamlum Night Bazaar in Raychadaphisek, Bangkok, Thailand.
