BOXING WORLD CHAMPION SAVANNAH MARSHALL SET TO MAKE HER MMA DEBUT AT PFL EUROPE IN NEWCASTLE PhilBoxing.com Wed, 03 Apr 2024  NEW YORK (April 2, 2024) - The Professional Fighters League (PFL), the fastest growing and most innovative sports league, is today announcing that PFL Europe Newcastle on Saturday, June 8 will be headlined by Super Middleweight Boxing World Champion Savannah Marshall making her mixed martial arts debut at Utilita Arena. In addition to Marshall’s debut, the 2024 PFL Europe Regular Season continues, with Bantamweights and Women’s Flyweight beginning their “Path to Greatness” and looking to secure spots in the PFL Europe Playoffs this September. A high-profile signing that shook the combat sports world in 2023, Marshall is ready to assert her dominance in a new sport, setting down the boxing gloves for MMA gloves. A native of Newcastle, Marshall is a must-watch talent, boasting 10 victories by knockout in her illustrious boxing career. Marshall joins the deepest female combat sports roster in the world, which includes a familiar foe in Claressa Shields.
