PhilBoxing.com

The Amateur Softball Association of the Philippines (ASAPHIL) is currently in full swing, preparing for a series of highly anticipated international competitions slated for the year 2024. With a talented roster of athletes across different categories and a steadfast commitment to excellence, ASAPHIL is poised to create and perform amazing feats for the Philippines in the international stage.

Among the marquee events on ASAPHIL's radar is the Men's Softball World Cup 2024, slated to unfold in Hermosillo, Mexico, spanning from June 12 to 16. This distinguished tournament promises to assemble top-tier softball nations worldwide in a fierce battle for supremacy, offering ASAPHIL a prime platform to flaunt their skills and compete at the pinnacle of the sport.

Additionally, another notable fixture on ASAPHIL's agenda is the WBSC U-18 Women's Softball World Cup, recognized as the foremost international youth softball extravaganza. This competition is set to transpire from August 29 to September 2, 2024, in Dallas, USA, and promises an opportunity for ASAPHIL's emerging talents to showcase their skills at the global stage and amass invaluable experience.

Finally, ASAPHIL is also preparing as they are set to participate in the Canada Cup International Women's Softball Championship, slated for July 1 to 7, 2024, in Surrey. This esteemed tournament attracts top teams from across the globe and serves as a crucial platform for ASAPHIL's female athletes to showcase their prowess and compete against world-class competition.

ASAPHIL President and Cebuana Lhuillier CEO, Jean Henri Lhuillier, expressed his enthusiasm for the upcoming international competitions, stating, "We are incredibly excited and proud to represent the Philippines on the international softball stage across these three different categories! These tournaments will provide us with an excellent opportunity to showcase the talent and dedication of our athletes. We are confident that our teams will give their all and make our country proud."

With high hopes and determination, ASAPHIL is ready to make its mark and leave a lasting impression on the global softball community in 2024-Marlon Bernardino-
