Mayweather Jr. won the fight by unanimous decision, with two judges scoring it 116–112 and the third had it 118–110. * * * That time Mayweather was the WBA (Unified), WBC, and The Ring welterweight champion, the WBA (Super), WBC, and The Ring light middleweight champion, The Ring No. 1 ranked pound-for-pound fighter and five-division world champion. * * * Pacquiao was the WBO welterweight champion, The Ring No. 2 ranked pound-for-pound fighter and 8-division world champion. * * * The fight broke PPV viewership records in the United States, with 4.6 million buys and over $410 million in revenue. * * * Naoya Inoue joined an exclusive club when he stopped Marlon Tapales in the 10th round to become an undisputed champion at two weight divisions. He joins Terence Crawford as the second boxer to accomplish this in 2023, but also the second fighter to do so since the four-belt era began. * * * Inoue became the undisputed super bantamweight world champion and also the former undisputed bantamweight world champion.
