Visayan Fighters Amparo and Demecillo Gear Up for Exciting Fights August 5 in Japan
By Carlos Costa PhilBoxing.com Tue, 11 Jul 2023

Amparo (on the left in the photo), and Demecillo ready themselves for thrilling action in Japan.
Talented Boholano 105-pound challenger Jake Amparo (13-4-1, 3 KO's), will clash in a main event rumble against unbeaten, defending WBO Asia-Pacific Champion Goki Kobayashi 小林豪己 (6-0, 4 KO'f) of Kobe on Saturday, August 5, in Kobe, Japan.
The hot 12-rounder rumble is the golden opportunity for the young Amparo, 25, and Kobayashi, 24, to display their skills, speed and power with a world-rank and the WBO Asia-Pacific belt on the line.
Who will emerge victorious on August 5 in Kobe's Central Gym? Will Amparo dethrone Kabayashi, or will Kobayashi retain crown? The thrilling action is promoted by Mr. Masato Yamashita of Shinsei Promotions.
DEMECILLO FIGHTS YAMASAKI
Meanwhile, on the same day, Cebuano man of action Carlo Pepito Demecillo (16-7-2, 9 KO's) wages war against local Japanese rising-star Osaka warrior Kaito Yamasaki 山崎海斗 (5-0, 3 KO's) in Osaka, Japan.
Yamasaki vs Demecillo at the Sumiyoshi Ward Center in Osaka is a non-title, eight-chapter saga in the Featherweight division, promoted by Mr. Takashi Edagawa of Muto Promotions.
Jake Amparo has already fought in other countries. But it will be the very first time that the skilled and promising Jake "El Bambino" Amparo fights in "The Land of the Rising Sun," and he is feeling like a dream come true. This is an excellent chance to shine bright.
While for the experienced Carlo Demecillo, 27, this will be his 4th boxing trip to the country of Boxing King Naoya Inoue.
Best of luck to all warriors August 5 in Japan. May the Best Men Win!
