In a rematch with the WBA Intercontinental Supermiddleweight title, Bektemir Melikuziev of Uzbekistan who had previously lost by 3rd round KO in 2021 to Gabriel Rosado (26-17-1, 15KOs) improved his record to 12-1, 9KOs by out working his former conqueror over 10 rounds to earn a unanimous decision victory. All three judges scored the match 99-91.
