Historic: Naveen Verma, First India Boxer to Fight in Japan
By Carlos Costa PhilBoxing.com Sat, 15 Apr 2023

Indian Cruiserweight Naveen Verma (left) is on the verge of becoming the first pro boxer from India to fight in JBC-sanctioned pro boxing show in Japan.
The face off photo shows Naveen being intensively looked at by his tough, powerful unbeaten Japanese opponent 🇯🇵 Mitsuro Brandon Tajima 但馬ブランドン ミツロ (4-0, 4 KO's).
Their 8-round, non-title cruiserweight collision will unfold Sunday, April 16, at the Yoyogi #2 Gym in Tokyo Japan.
Will Naveen (4-2, 4 KO's) be able to land his punches on the hometown warrior, reducing him, stopping him before the final bell?
Naveen and Tajima during presscon Saturday in Tokyo. The two serious men are more than ready to trade hard in the cruiserweight division.
Or will the 28-year-old Tajima from Osaka be the one to score his bombs with enough damaging power and accuracy to overpower the visiting Indian fighter?
The two big, focused, heavily bearded warriors made weight are ready to rumble!
