Garen "Hellboy" Diagan Arrives in Vietnam for WBA Asia Rumble

PhilBoxing.com

HO CHI MINH, Vietnam -- After wreaking havoc in South Africa, knocking out the local hero in the Land of Nelson Mandela, tough Filipino southpaw Garen "Hellboy" Diagan has just landed in Vietnam ahead of his battle against the local hero here: world-ranked Huu Toan Le, Vietnam's #1 fighter.

The strong 26-year-old "Hellboy" born in Alabel, Sarangani Province, has the mission of waging WAR against WBA #8 Huu Toan Le for the WBA Minimumweight Title this coming Saturday, March 25 at the luxurious Saigon Sports Club in Ho Chi Minh, Vietnam.

For his crucial 12-rounder title clash against the Vietnamese star, Garen Diagan is guided by Highland Boxing coach former fighter Rod Michelle Sarguilla of the Inged nu Midsayap in North Cotabato, and by Braveheart Boxing assistant trainer Rex Peñalosa of Antipas, Cotabato.

The team arrived at Ho Chi Minh's Tan Son Nhat International Airport on PAL flight # 591 together with renown Filipino WBA international ring official Silvestre Abainza who will be one of the ringside judges for the fight. The referee will be WBA third man Chalerm Prayadsab.

The exciting, well-matched Huu Toan Le vs Garen Diagan for the WBA Minimumweight Title is a promotion of Jenny Do's Shadow Entertainment, Vietnam's top promotion company.

The winning warrior will notably improve his standing as a fighter, will have the honor of reigning as WBA Asia Minimumweight champion, and will claim an important berth in the 105-pound world-rankings, who will that winner be?

In the show's co-main event, unbeaten heavily-tattoed Vietnamese slugger Dinh-Hoang Truong (4-0, 3 KO's) defends for the second time his WBA Asia Super Middleweight Crown against the fists of 24-year-old southpaw Dae-Hyun Baek (4-1, 3 KO's) of Cheongju, South Korea.

In addition, tough Thai warrior Campee Phayon (22-5, 14 KO's), collides hard against undefeated hard-swinging Vietnamese Ngoc-Hai Nguyen (4-0-3, 3 KO's) for the vacant WBA Asia 140-pound Belt.

Also, promising 18-year-old Filipino 108-pounder Arvin Jhon Paciones (3-0, 2 KO's) will see action against much more-experienced Thai KO artist Sarawut Jiamthong (7-3, 7 KO's). Arvin will be assisted during battle by his dad and coach Do Dong Paciones.

The show will air live online on FPT Play as well as on the event's official Facebook page: www.facebook.com/LEADofficial.vn

The first fight starts at 5.30 pm (Vietnam Time UTC + 7).
May the Best Men Win!
