BANGKOK, Thailand — Filipino Rimar Bahian Metuda (on the left, wearing light blue Twin trunks) from The Tuna Capital of the Philippines, Gensan, and his Thai opponent Thop Ainphamon successfully made weight for their 6-rounder non-title Súper Lightweight War Saturday afternoon, September 3, at the plush SpacePlus NightClub, RCA Plaza, in Bangkok, Thailand.

Hours ago Metuda passed with flying colours the medical check-up from Thai physician Dr. Jirasak, later on stepping on the scale, moving the espada inside the 140-pound weight-class.

Metuda (C) passes the medical exam.

Then, Metuda and Ainphamon held a serious but cordial face off both men looking strong and confident, willing to swing for the fences.

In his noble quest, the friendly Metuda (15-6-1, 9 KO’s) is guided by Filipino coach Lio Aurelio Camporedondo Angel Jr., of Davao, a man with 100% confidence in his fighter.
