The team champion will earn P200,000 plus a trophy and medals. The second placer will get P100,000 plus a trophy and medals, third P50,000 plus a trophy and medals, fourth P25,000 plus trophy and fifth P15,000 plus trophy. Sixth to 10th placers will earn P10,000, P9,000 P8,000, P7,000 and P6,000, respectively while 11th to 20th placers will receive P5,000 each. Special category prizes worth P10,000 plus a trophy and medals for the top College Team, top Company Team, top Gensan City chess team, and top LGU team. Individual prizes for the top junior 20 and below, top senior 20 and above, board 1, 2 and 3, will take home gold P3,000 each, silver P2,000 each and bronze P1,000 each. Registration fee is P5,000.
