Astrolabio, Rigondeaux Pass 7-Day Weight-Check Ahead of WBC Int'l Rumble Feb 26 in Dubai
By Carlos Costa PhilBoxing.com Sat, 19 Feb 2022
Hard-hitting Filipino warrior Vincent "Asero" Astrolabio (16-3, 12 KO's) of General Santos City checked-in at 120.6 pounds, while Guillermo "El Chacal" Rigondeaux (20-2, 13 KO's) of Santiago de Cuba stood at 123.5 lbs., during today's 7-Day Weight-Check ahead of their upcoming rumble for the vacant WBC International Bantamweight Title set to unfold this coming Saturday, February 26, in Dubai, U.A.E.
For the final weigh-in on Friday, February 25, both men will need to weigh no more than 118 lbs, the limit of the bantamweight division; and they seem well on their way to successfully do so.
Astrolabio, 24, and Rigondeaux, 41, will headline the exciting Dubai boxing show promoted by People's Fighters set to unfold at the The Lawns of the plush 36-hole course Emirates Golf Club.
In the co-feature, Filipino former OPBF champ "The Journeyman" Mark John Yap of Cagayan de Oro trades heavy artillery against unbeaten, but less-experienced Jadier Herrera (5-0, 5 KO's) of Camaguey, Cuba, for the vacant WBA Asia South Super Featherweight Title.
”Asero” Vincent Diazen Astrolabio will have the beloved former Pacman coach of his corner, Nonoy Neri. Vincent could not have a better boss!
Will the Filipino warriors Vincent Astrolabio and Mark John Yap score thrilling wins over the skilled Cuban boxers to claim those Title Belts?
The rumbles are going to be intense and climactic. Who will have the fighting skills to dominate the other?
That’s why Pinoys in Dubai really need to show up in massive numbers to support their Kababayans in their crucial hot battles, talaga oi!
Tickets for the exciting February 26 show can be purchased here:

Doors at The Lawn, Emirates Golf Club, open 6 PM (Dubai Time).
Best of luck to Vincent and Mark John!
