India’s Lalbiakkima Stops Thai Kimsahwat, Captures IBA Intercontinental Strap By Carlos Costa PhilBoxing.com Fri, 03 Dec 2021  Unbeaten coming-forward Indian 105-pounder Nutlai Lalbiakkima (3-0, 3 KO’s), fighting in his hometown of Aizawl in Mizoram State, overwhelmed and stopped in just 2 rounds Thai southpaw Gerttipong Kimsahwat, 23, of Aranyaprathet to claim the vacant IBA Intercontinental Minimumweight Title during Saturday’s televised action-pack LPS Fight Night show at the Dawrpui Hall, promoted by Marine Boxing. The short-lived, fast-paced, toe-to-toe battle ended when the third man timely halted actions after the Thai warrior Kimsahwat (6-10, 5 KO’s) looked unsteady after being impacted hard against the ropes by a power right overhand during a rough exchange in chapter two. 
The victory is Lalbiakkima’s third straight knockout win, after two prior stoppage triumphs in Mumbai. What’s next for the ferocious small Indian whirlwind?
