Marcial is all smiles after winning his Tokyo Olympics round of 16 bout against Younes Nemouchi of Algeria at the Kokugigan Arena in Tokyo, Japan Thursday morning.
Marcial continued to control the fight tagging Nemouchi with hard combinations. Moments later, the referee called the ring physician again to checked on Nemouchi's cut. This time the ring doctor advised Radoslav to stop the contest. Time: 2:41 of the first round.
Marcial will now face Arman Darchinyan of Armenia on Sunday, August 1, for their quarterfinal bout. Darchinyan, newphew of former world champion Vic Darchinyan, earlier defeated Andrej Csemez of Slovakia, 5-0, in the round of 16.
A win over Darchinyan will assure Marcial of a medal finish.
