A Race to 7 affair, 7 minutes plus 2 seconds increment time control format, draws not counted.
Other matches pitted between 1996 Philippine Junior Champion Robert Suelo versus Dale Bernardo.
The 8-year-old New York, United States based Megan Althea recently stood up, even she was late on the first game and took a first game bye, Megan Althea still managed to finish the tournament strong and get the clear 1st place out of 46 students in New York City, United States according to his father and coach Jan Vincent Paragua, younger brother of US based Filipino Grandmaster Mark Paragua.
The 9-year-old Dila-Dila, Santa, Rita, Pampanga resident OJ, on the other hand is fresh from winning the 2021 National Youth & School Championship, Visayas leg Qualifying Under 15, the 2021 National Youth & School Championship, North Luzon leg qualifying Under 13 and the 2021 GM Eugene Torre Search for Kiddies Grand Master.-Marlon Bernardino-
