KENNY BAYLESS BRILLIANT IN PACQUIAO-MARQUEZ REMATCH

While fans will heap praises upon praises on both Manny Pacquiao and Juan Manuel Marquez after their classic rematch today, it is also but proper to cite the outstanding performance of the third man on the ring Kenny Bayless of Las Vegas.
Bayless, who was also the third man when Oscar De la Hoya first fought Floyd Mayweather Jr, was simply flawless in his officiating today, and was in total control of the 12-round rumble that will surely go down as one of the most memorable fights in recent years.
Bayless, just like in the De la Hoya-Mayweather bout, was in total control of the match, and kept minimal his intervention of the fight and only when it was necessary to do so.
The only knockdown in the fight, scored by Pacquiao in the third round, was correctly called, and fans will definitely agree it was that knockdown which spelled a great difference in the fight. From then on, Marquez looked different.
An inexperienced, or worse an incompetent referee would have succumbed to the electricity of the moment, and would not have done a job as memorable as what Bayless did.
Bayless indeed, dished out one priceless performance during the fight.
