Imperial beats Landicho

Manila---Candidate Master Genghis Imperial of Manila Indios Bravos beat Israel Landicho of Cavite Spartans in the race-to-12 Chess For A Cause, Friday, April 9, 2021 at the lichess.org platform.

The match lasted 6 and half hours according to Bayanihan Chess Club secretary general Fide Master Robert Suelo Jr. in the 1-day event, 5 minutes plus 2 seconds increment time control format to coincide the celebration of Araw ng Kagitingan backed up by Zamboanga Sultans team owner Canadian National Master Zulfikar Sali, Dr. Joe Balinas, Engr.
