Estrada vs Chocolatito II Set to Ignite Fireworks on March 13; Who will Rock Who?

PhilBoxing.com

The long-awaited hot rematch has finally been confirmed, and gotten its official date.

Yes indeed, Mexican WBC super flyweight world champion Juan Francisco “El Gallo” Estrada will battle exciting Nicaraguan warrior Román “Chocolatito” González in a thrilling WBA/WBC unification clash set to ignite fireworks for fans on Saturday, March 13, 2021.

The competitive event is meant to become a super intense and explosive rumble that no boxing fan can afford to miss.

Estrada and Chocolatito first met in battle in Nov of 2012 in Los Angeles, California, with Chocolatito prevailing by points for a successful defense of his WBA 108-pound strap.

Eight years later, the two men will battle it out again, but will the result be the same?

Both gladiators have been furiously knocking out their recent opponents in world title clashes, displaying their already known lightning skills and power-punching, prompting many fans to think that their war might not make the distance, but who would knock out who?

Since their first encounter, the Mexican star Estrada (41-3 28 KO’s) has fought to establish himself as a fantastic champion in different weight-classes, currently reigning as the #1 fighter in the planet at 115 pounds.

That riveting status was underscored with Estrada’s thrilling 11th round KO victory over tough Mexican compatriot former champ Carlos “El Príncipe” Cuadras last October in Ciudad de México.

For that sizzling win, El Gallo had to come back up from being rocked down to the canvas in round 3 to stop El Principe later on in the war in truly astounding fashion.

Meanwhile, the always awesome former world #1 pound4pound king Chocolatito González (50-2 41 KO’s) recorded his own impressive victory on the same night of Estrada’s triumph by beating and knocking out tough young Mexican challenger Israel González.

With that knockout win, Chocolatito defended the WBA super flyweight crown that he claimed by stopping then British world champ Khalid Yafai last February in Texas.

Both Estrada and Chocolatito aim to settle once and for all who is the best between the two of them, for which a spectacular win on that Saturday night will deliver an impressive impact in their future legacy has elite fighters.

About the fight, the show’s promoter, Eddie Hearn, believes that the battle could become a contender for Fight of the Year.

"This is going to be a special fight," Hearn assures fans.

“It's been a long time coming, but both men are in their prime now with Juan Francisco achieving a dramatic knockout victory in his fight of the year contender with Carlos Cuadras, and Chocolatito turning the years back with his clinical KO victory over Yafai, looking like a sharp razor.

“Estrada is world’s number #1 in the 115 pound division, but Chocolatito will be looking to repeat his victory,” added Eddie Hearn, the Englishman who is, to many fans, is the world’s top boxing promoter today.

“El Gallo” Estrada vs “Chocolatito” González in WBA/WBC unification battle is truly a remarkable, really exciting fight that no true fan of the sport of boxing can afford to miss, and who do you think will emerge victorious?
