CANELO-SMITH UNDERCARD RESULTS: FORD STOPS LOPEZ IN 7

The Canelo Alvarez vs Callum Smith WBC/WBA super middleweight unified championship is now underway at the Alamodome in San Antonio, Texas and below are two undercard results:
Undefeated superfeather prospect Raymond Ford (8-0-0, 4KOs) of Camden, New Jersey dropped Juan Antonio Lopez (15-8-0, 6KOs) twice en route to a 7th round TKO victory in their 8-round scheduled super featherweight. Ford was too fast and accurate against the veteran Juan Antonio Lopez who kissed the canvas in the first and seventh rounds. Lopez though showed his toughness and had his moments in spurts but after the second knockdown Referee Jon Schorle had seen enough and waved the fight for Ford's TKO victory.
In the curtain raiser Alexis Eduardo Molina (8-0-1, 5KOs) of Guadalajara, Mexico fought to a majority draw against Robert Greenwood (5-0-1, 2KOs) of Frankfort, Indiana. Scores: 39-37 and 37-37 twice.
