MONSTER INOUE DEVOURS MOLONEY ON HALLOWEEN NIGHT

Naoya Inoue's speed, power and timing were too much for the confidence and power deficient of Jason Moloney who was devoured by the Monster on Halloween night at The Bubble at MGM Grand in Las Vegas Saturday night (Sunday in Manila).

It was clear from the getgo that Moloney's punches would not hurt Inoue so the popular Japanese walked over at Moloney throwing punches with bad intentions.

The shot by Inoue that drops Moloney in the 6th round.

Although Moloney had his moments, connecting to the head and body of Inoue, the Monster's connect level was just too much for the Australian. A big right by Inoue to the head of Moloney in the 5th signal's Moloney's end. Although the Australian took it well, he was on survival mode after that. A left counter to the head by Inoue dropped Moloney in the sixth and a perfectly timed right straight to the face in the 7th, dropped Moloney again and this time he was not able to beat the count of Referee Kenny Bayless.

Inoue said after the fight that he wants to unify the remaining belts, the WBO currently held by the Philippines' Jonhriel Casimero and the WBC held by Nordine Obaali.

Inoue's undefeated record improves to 20 wins with 17 KOs while Moloney, his world title aspiration completely shattered, dropped to 21-2-0, 18KOS.
