Boesel Defends WBA 175 Title Against Krasniqi Saturday in Germany
By Carlos Costa PhilBoxing.com Tue, 06 Oct 2020

German WBA light heavyweight interim champion Dominic Boesel (30-1, 12 KO’s) can’t wait to defend his belt against tough Kosovo-born former world title challenger Robin Krasniqi (50-6, 18 KOs) this Saturday, October 10 @ the GETEC Arena Magdeburg in Germany.
Dominic Boesel, 30, will be making the 1st defense of the title he conquered last November by stopping Swedish Sven Fornling (15-2, 7 KO’s).
In that battle, the skilled Boesel was able to knock out Fornling thanks to an effective fighting strategy for a brilliant 11th round stoppage. Will he do the same to Krasniqi?
The winner might be the next opponent for Russian WBA 175 “super” champion Dmitry Bivol (17-0, 11 KO’s), or veteran Canadian WBA “regular” titlist Jean Pascal (35-6-1, 20 KO’s).
This Saturday’s show is promoted by Ulf Steinforth’s SES Sports, televised live in Germany on ARD and worldwide on ESPN.
