Glowacki Battles Okolie for the Vacant WBO 200 Lbs World Title By Carlos Costa PhilBoxing.com Sun, 06 Sep 2020  Former cruiserweight (200 lbs) ruler Krzysztof Glowacki (L) of Poland can’t wait to climb the ring to battle tough Briton Lawrence Okolie for the vacant WBO cruiserweight world title this coming December 12 at the famed O2 Arena in London, England. 👍 The experienced 34-year-old former titlist Krzysztof Glowacki (31-2, 19 KO’s) captured the WBO Cruiserweight world crown 5 years ago, beating Serbian-German “Captain” Marco Huck. Glowacki defended that belt once against veteran former champ Steve Cunningham but lost it to undefeated Ukrainian sensation Oleksandr Usyk (17-0, 13 KO’s) in his own home country of Poland in 2016. 😬 Still glory-hungry, Glowacki wants to be a champion of the world again and this December 12, he will have his chance. 👍 In the other corner will be unbeaten 27-year-old Lawrence Okolie (14-0, 11 KOs), who gets his first shot at the world title after knocking out Belgian Yves Ngabu in seven rounds to clinch the European belt.
