NBA Daily: Nuggets Win Over Shorthanded Bucks 109-95
By Reylan Loberternos PhilBoxing.com Wed, 11 Mar 2020

Boracay Island, Philippines – The Milwaukee Bucks were without their top 6 scorers, including reigning league MVP Giannis Antetokounmpo. Still, the shock troopers gave it a good fight for three full quarters, until Jamal Murray made a thunderous facial dunk on D.J. Wilson that ignited an otherwise lethargic home crowd. Then the Denver Nuggets went on rampage to score a comfortable victory over the league-leading Bucks 109-95 on Monday night (Tuesday morning, Philippine time) at the Pepsi Center in Denver, Colorado.
Murray finished with 21 points on a 9-for-17 field goal shooting, including 3-for-6 from deep, to go along with 5 rebounds, 6 assists, 1 steal, and 1 block. Paul Millsap added a double-double of 20 markers and 10 boards, while Jerami Grant chipped in 19 bench points for the Nuggets, who improved to 43 wins and 21 losses for 3rd place in the Western Conference team standings.
Kyle Korver led Milwaukee with 23 points that included five triples off the bench. Sterling Brown added 16 markers for the Bucks, who dropped to a 53-12 win-loss card, but remained comfortably on top of the overall team standings.
The Bucks will travel home to host the Boston Celtics on Thursday night (Friday morning, Philippine time).
Meanwhile, the Nuggets will travel to Dallas to face the Mavericks on Wednesday night (Thursday morning, Philippine time).
