Pacquiao Foundation partners with LHF in turkey giveaways

CHICAGO - Days before America's biggest holiday --- Thanksgiving ---- the Pacquiao Foundation, in association with the Local Hearts Foundation of Long Beach, California brought smiles to at least one thousand families by giving away 1,000 turkeys on Saturday.
The soldiers of charity didn't just hand out the sumptuous birds, they also gave away 600 bags of clothes and 200 pairs of shoes.
The event had an amazing turn out.
"The line was wrapped around the block and people showed up as early as 5 am," Jon Sisson, Executive Director of the Pacquiao Foundation told PhilBoxing.com. The event began at 10 am and ended at 2 pm.
Tito Rodriguez is the founder of the Local Hearts Foundation.
Apparently, this is just the beginning.
"We are planning on holding a toy drive with them (LHF), too, in December," Sisson added.
Named after Senator Manny Pacquiao, the Pacquiao Foundation is dedicated to make a difference in this world.
